Web design for a financial services company

Project details:

Type of business: Financial services
Location: UK / worldwide
Date: Autumn 2017

We were asked to create this modern web design for a financial services and investment company, who operate worldwide.

Our client had a large amount of content that needed publishing on the website, so we assisted by structuring their wording into different pages and providing advice on writing for the web. Some of the sections were presented as toggle panels, so the pages didn’t feel too text-heavy. We also helped them source suitable stock images for the site.

After meeting our client in Southend-on-Sea, in Essex, we knew they wanted the website going live as quickly as possible. So from agreeing the website spec on a Monday, we delivered a working website demo by the Friday. Compared to many other web design agencies, this proves that Primary Image can deliver extremely fast turnarounds!

The key web design requirements included:

  • Using the client’s existing logo and branding;
  • Building the website so it could incorporate a multi-lingual system; and
  • Ensuring a number of explainer videos could be easily displayed within the website.

WordPress web design

Our client was already familiar with the WordPress platform, having used it for some of their other websites, so this software was the obvious choice. As Primary Image is a leading WordPress agency, we could easily incorporate all of the requests made by our customer. For consistency with the client’s other websites, the site was built using the Avada theme.

We also setup a stock ticker plugin, using the Stockdio service, allowing our client to display their relevant financial market information to website visitors.

As our client wanted to host and manage the website themselves, we provided technical assistance to configure their web servers so they could run WordPress. We offered support for a period of time immediately after the website’s launch too.
