Web design for the IRO’s education courses

Project details

Client: Institution of Railway Operators
Type: Membership organisation and education provider
Date: Spring 2012

Primary Image created this stylish mini website for the Institution of Railway Operators (IRO) to help promote their education courses, which are run in conjunction with Glasgow Caledonian University.

As well as a facility for visitors to register their interest and receive a “call back”, the website also allowed people to complete their full application forms online for the first time, where previously the IRO had ran a paper-only system. For convenience, applicants could save their partial forms and return to the website at a later time, whilst they also received an automatic PDF copy of their form once it’s submitted.

On the back-end, the forms are integrated with an online spreadsheet and database, allowing easy administrator access to the information.

UPDATE: This was a temporary “mini site” prior to the launch of the IRO’s completely new site at the end of 2012 – see more details about the full website project.

Primary Image also designed banner stands and a member survey for the IRO.
