Primary Image website, pictured on a tablet computerWe’re really excited to announce the launch of our brand new Primary Image website today!

We recognised our old site was getting a bit outdated, so after a busy winter period we finally got round to devoting some time to our own project.

Our new website was designed with these main objectives in mind:

  • It of course had to be mobile and tablet friendly (i.e. a responsive design).
  • We wanted a bold, exciting and eye-catching look that reflected our work as designers, particularly incorporating a block style.
  • It needed better “calls to action” so visitors have clear paths through the site, before hopefully getting in touch with us!
  • We wanted a more prominent blog section to engage more with our clients and audience.
  • We wanted to keep most of the existing page structure (i.e. the site map), but with a clearer navigation system.
  • We needed a website that loaded quicker.

Responsive layout shown on an iPhoneAnd here it is – we’ve hopefully delivered on all of those objectives!

The responsive layout stretches out nicely on the latest widescreen computer monitors, making the best use of available space. The design becomes narrower on tablet computers, whilst for smartphones all our pages become a single column, making it really easy to read. The big navigation menu buttons also act as prominent clicking or touching boxes.

If you’ve got any feedback on our new website, do let us know via the comments box below or through our contact form! 🙂
