I’m very pleased to welcome two new members to the Primary Image team this year.
In January we moved to a new, larger office unit within the Business Hub in Southend-on-Sea. Our plans were interrupted during the Covid-19 pandemic period, but we’ve started 2022 in a much stronger position. Securing larger office space was one of our main priorities and, having been resident in the Business Hub for several years, we were keen to remain in the same convenient location, just a minute’s walk from the high street and Southend Central train station.
And joining Primary Image in our new office:
Ella
Sales and Marketing Assistant
Ella joined the Primary Image team in March after completing an Art and Design course at South Essex College. Ella says:
I am very excited for this next step of my career at Primary Image, which will allow me to apply my creative and linguistic skills and broaden my marketing knowledge first-hand.
Since joining us, Ella has completed a copywriting course and a Level 2 Business Administration course. Ella is putting this to use by working on our new website, recording new tutorial videos, and improving our internal notes and databases, and much more.
Over the past few weeks, Ella has also become very experienced in using our website building software, so she’s been involved in editing and building websites, and (not something she was expecting to do) even mastered some website programming too!
Jake
Website Designer & Front-end Developer
In July we welcomed Jake to the team, who has been building websites since the age of 14.
Prior to working with Primary Image, Jake had worked at a large web design agency in Southend, as well as a multinational company, picking up extensive experience of web development in those two roles. Additionally, he ran his own freelance web design business for several years and is very familar with the WordPress platform.
Jake has immediately made an impact with his expertise and is enjoying using the newer-generation tools we use here at Primary Image. We are also thankful for the additional support from Creative Estuary, a programme which is helping to expand work and development opportunities for those in the creative sector around the Thames estuary.
And Jake looks forward to saying hello to many of our customers over the coming weeks.
I’m delighted to welcome both Jake and Ella to the Primary Image team.
